Hey hey!  February flashed by in the blink of an eye?  Maybe because it’s such a short week or the beautiful weather means we’re spending more time outside having fun?

Still, I managed to get my March pages in my bullet journal set up and ready early!  Last month I asked my YouTube viewers to suggest a theme and I got a suggestion to create a theme with insects, spiders or dragonflies.  And I ended up choosing dragonflies!

Valentine’s Day.  You either love it or you hate it.

Ok, so maybe it’s not that easy.  I hate it because it’s just so commercialised.  The price of roses (and flowers) go up 1000%, chocolates are also overpriced, discount vouchers are not valid at restaurants!  And my husband shouldn’t be told that he can only show his love for me on this specific day.   He can show me all the other 364 days as well!  😂

But, I also love Valentine’s Day.  I’m a girly-girl at heart.  I love pink, I love hearts, I love flowers!  And I’m not going to say no to receiving flowers and chocolates either!  I have such mixed feelings about this day!

A new year means for most, a new journal.  Usually I don’t start a new notebook until I’ve completed my current one.  But this year, I decided to move on to a new bullet journal for 2019.

The reason I’m doing this is because I probably only have enough pages in my current Archer and Olive Notebook for one more month.  So I might as well set up a whole new year now, instead of delaying it a month.

Getting ready to set up for October in my bullet journal, I really didn’t have many ideas for a theme. I figured something using orangey fall colours would be my best bet, but other than pumpkins and koi fish I couldn’t think of anything else. So I posed the question to my Instagram family – should I do a pumpkin theme this month. Surprisingly to me, the resounding answer was YES!

Wow! It’s November already, Christmas is just around the corner! Life is about to get busy people, so bust out those journals! I’ve got to plan my eldest son’s birthday party, which we’re going to have in early December even though his birthday is in January. He’s turning 5 and with his actual birthday being smack bang in the middle of summer holidays we need to organise it for next month so all his little friends can come along. So yay! Birthday and Christmas planning!!
